Your role as Human Resources Generalist
As Human Resources Generalist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of HR operations. You will work closely with different company stakeholders to drive HR programs, career development plans, people relations, and to provide overall personnel management support across different departments.
You will participate in the development, implementation and administration of company-wide policies and procedures that both meet our needs and comply with regulatory requirements. To achieve this, you will need to be constantly aware of current employment laws and stay on top of any changes, proactively evaluating new laws and providing recommended remediation.
You will oversee all recruitment and talent acquisition efforts. You will need to identify talent gaps and recruitment needs, and implement a recruiting strategy for each business areas. You will run the entire recruitment process end-to-end, and drive all activities related to the on-boarding and off-boarding of employees.
You will be actively involved in key HR strategic programs and initiatives. You will conduct our employee Performance Management Program end-to-end. You will execute internal and external Learning & Development strategies. And you will facilitate our Global Mobility programs, managing global transfers and international assignments, by working with legal counsel, tax advisors, finalising employment agreements, negotiating relocation packages, and facilitating move details.
To thrive in this position, you will need to establish your credibility and build strong working relationships with department managers. You will need to be an effective communicator, while being able to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality in interpersonal interactions.
What we value
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources
- In-depth understanding of employment laws within APAC and experience in working with employment law attorneys is desirable
- Experience in managing performance evaluation and employee career development plan is an advantage
- Familiarity with the tools of the trade in human resources and iWork products, file management, data classification and benefits administration
- Flexibility when it comes to travel and working hours
